Something to Hate: The Simpsons

We're done The Simpsons.

I finally came around and accepted the fact that while the newer episodes would never reach the heights of the early Simpsons they were not without their charms.

But this is too much. Is there no quality control at Gracie Films? Matt Groening saw this. Had meetings about this. He OK'd this. And that tears it - for me at least.

Bye bye. I'll still have my DVDs of seasons 1-9 but you are never getting my money again. Lame.

"Paddington Ghost" Dan Deacon

Yay! New Dan Deacon video!

Paddington Ghost

Love it. Its a perfect video for Dan Deacon: handmade and artificial, deceptively simple and playful in it's complexity. And it still looks more realistic than Avatar.

"Actual Details" Are Nice

Actual Details?

What do you know? When people read the "actual details" of the Obama health care plan a majority support it. Come to think of it, what manner of details are the opposite of "actual details"? Oh, that's right... lies.

Lies.

Is that so hard?
